KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 28, 2026) – Current Landing, Kansas City’s newest destination for entertainment and unforgettable experiences, is set for a high-energy summer, featuring a full season of watch parties and “always on” programming celebrating the world’s biggest international matches. 

With CPKC Stadium and the Missouri River as its anchor, Current Landing is easily accessible from downtown via the soon-to-be-opened Streetcar Riverfront Extension and bike/ped bridge.  Attendees will enjoy a state-of-the-art viewing experience on a massive 40’ screen with immersive surround sound. Fans can take in daytime matches with riverfront breezes and settle in for evening showdowns beneath the wide Missouri sky. 

Throughout summer 2026, guests are invited to gather, cheer and experience every dramatic moment of the world’s most-watched tournament, all on the riverfront.

Announced in December 2025, Current Landing is expected to complete its first phases of construction ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Residences River’s Edge and Confluence are open for pre-leasing.
